Our Story

Nearly three decades of Philadelphia snax.

Philly Pretzels, Inc. has been part of Philadelphia's food habits since 1997, first at the airport, and today at the Linc.

Chapter One

Philadelphia and the soft pretzel.

Before it was a business, it was a habit. Carts on corners. Bags on car seats. A pretzel handed over with mustard already on it.

The Philadelphia soft pretzel isn't a novelty item here. It's a part of the day, after school, before work, on the way somewhere.

It was special because it was ours.

Chapter Two

1997. A tradition takes flight.

Philly Pretzels, Inc. opened its concession at Philadelphia International Airport in 1997 with a straightforward idea: give people the Philadelphia snacks they already knew.

Not reinvented. Not reinterpreted. The real ones.

For nearly three decades we served travelers heading out, travelers coming home, airport employees on shift, families waiting at gates, and Philadelphians grabbing one last familiar thing before a flight.

Regional products moved through that counter every day: soft pretzels, Tastykakes, chocolates, ice cream, cold drinks. Small purchases that turned into memories people still mention.

Chapter Three

The philosophy behind Philly's Favorite Snax.

Nostalgia isn't a look. It's recognition. A product people already know carries something a new product can't, where they were, who they were with, what it reminded them of.

That's why we sell recognizable regional products rather than inventing our own. For people who grew up here, they're home. For people visiting, they're an introduction to Philadelphia.

Chapter Four

The airport chapter closes.

Our concession at Philadelphia International Airport has closed after nearly thirty years.

It was a good run, and it belonged to a lot of people, our crews, our regulars, and everyone who stopped by on their way somewhere else. We're grateful for all of it.

But our story is still being written.

Chapter Five

Lincoln Financial Field today.

Today we serve Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field: football games, concerts, college games, and special events.

Different crowd. Different occasion. Same city, and the same familiar tastes.

Chapter Seven

What comes next.

We're building the next chapter around the same idea we started with in 1997: serve the snacks people already love, in the places where Philadelphia gathers.

More events. More crew. More memories worth keeping.
